Why employ paid staff?
Employing staff can have a huge impact on a patient group’s ability to achieve their advocacy goals. By managing administrative and operational tasks, staff enable groups to undertake ambitious projects and expand their reach, better serving their community and addressing patient needs.
This also eases the burden on individual leaders, reducing burnout. Moreover, new staff bring fresh expertise and perspectives, helping patient groups advocate more effectively and make a greater impact on the lives of those they represent.
Why attend this masterclass?
Transitioning to paid staff can be daunting, as it’s crucial to hire individuals who grasp the personal significance and gravity of the group’s mission. Beacon recognises this challenge and is hosting this masterclass to equip patient groups with the tools they need to find the right person.
